We help teams deploy AI that’s fair, auditable, and production-ready — a system you can defend to a regulator, a clinician, or your own risk committee.
Most organizations don’t have an AI problem.
They have a “we built something promising and now it’s stuck” problem — stuck between a demo that impressed the board and a system nobody can quite certify as safe, fair, or compliant. That gap, between a working prototype and a deployed product you can stand behind, is where I work.
How we help
AI Readiness & Risk Audit
A structured assessment of where your AI stands and what’s exposed — technical maturity, data, fairness, privacy, and compliance risk. You leave with a prioritized roadmap.
Best for: leadership deciding whether and how to move forward.

Responsible-AI Review
A deep review of a specific model or system against fairness, privacy, transparency, and audit-readiness — with concrete fixes, not just findings.
Best for: teams with a system approaching or already in production.

Executive AI Strategy Sprint
A focused engagement to help leadership decide where AI creates real value, and where it creates risk. You leave with a defensible AI investment plan.
Best for: boards and leadership teams under pressure to act on AI.

Ongoing Advisory
A senior AI voice in the room as you build — on call for the decisions that matter.
Best for: teams shipping AI who want expertise without a full-time hire.

Why NePeur
NePeur is the advisory practice of Dr. Amita Kapoor.
I lead the AI work: 25+ years across AI, neuroscience, and robotics, author of Platform and Model Design for Responsible AI and five other books, and a Short-Term Expert in Digital Transformation and AI for the IMF. My work turns responsible-AI principles into shipped systems — resilient, private, fair, and transparent by design — for healthcare and regulated organizations where getting it wrong is expensive.
But NePeur isn’t a solo act.
Narotam Singh brings the dimension most AI practices don’t have. With a background in psychology and cognitive neuroscience, two decades in AI and robotics, and full-stack engineering that carries an idea all the way to working software, he’s also a former Government of India scientist who led national technical training programs. On our work he’s the one who asks the hard questions before we begin — whether an engagement is the right fit, where a system might harm the people it’s meant to serve, and whether we can genuinely deliver what a client needs. When AI touches real human lives, that grounding isn’t optional.
Between us: the engineering rigor to build it, the cognitive-science lens to understand its human impact, and the judgment to know when not to build it at all. That combination is why clients trust NePeur with the AI they can’t afford to get wrong.
Deploying AI where getting it wrong is expensive?
